Keywords play a vital role in your SMS campaigns by allowing customers to interact with your business via text messages. By creating specific keywords, you can automate responses, promote events, or facilitate donations, enhancing customer engagement and streamlining communication.
Creating Keywords
To get started with keywords in Voizee, follow these steps:
- Log in to Voizee.
- Navigate to Keywords:
- From the left menu, go to Campaigns and then select Keywords.
- Click on the ‘Create Keyword’ Button:
Fill in the Required Fields:
- Keyword Name: Provide a description of the keyword (e.g., Summer Sale, Charity Fund).
- Keyword: Enter the actual keyword that your customers will text (e.g., Sale20, Donate). Note that keywords can be 3 to 20 characters long, must contain letters and numbers (but not all numbers), and cannot include special characters.
- Auto Confirmation Message: Write a message that recipients will receive when they text the keyword.
- Assign Tags: Choose the tag(s) to associate with a Lead when they respond to your phone number using a Keyword. Tags can be managed under Leads / Tags.
- Click ‘Save’ to save your keyword.
Editing and Managing Keywords
Once created, keywords can be edited and updated as needed. Multiple keywords can be set up to deliver unique messages to your recipients, enabling targeted communication.
Examples of Keyword Usage
If you have multiple discounts or landing pages, you can configure keywords accordingly:
- Sale10: Sends a URL to your 10% discount landing page.
- Sale20: Sends a URL to your 20% discount landing page.
For non-profits, keywords can be effectively used for fundraising:
- DonateFoodBank: Sends a URL to a Food Bank donation page.
- DonateOrphans: Sends a URL to an Orphanage donation page.
By leveraging keywords, you can create dynamic and interactive SMS campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive results.
