Integrating Voizee with Little Green Light (LGL) allows nonprofits to streamline donor outreach, manage constituent data more effectively, and enhance engagement efforts. There are two primary methods to integrate Voizee with LGL: API Integration and Export-Import. Here’s how to set up each one.

Method 1: API Integration (Preferred)

The API integration method enables a direct connection between Voizee and LGL, syncing constituent information for seamless communication and data tracking.

Steps:

1. Generate an API Key in LGL:

   • Log in to your LGL account.
   • Navigate to Settings > Integration Settings > Advanced Integrations > LGL API
   • Click Generate API Access Token button and name it for easy reference (e.g., “Voizee Integration”).
   • Copy the API key.

2. Connect the API Key in Voizee:

   • Log in to your Voizee account.
   • Go to Settings > Integrations and select Little Green Light (LGL).
   • Paste the LGL API key into the designated field and click Save.

3. Enable Data Sync:

   • Once connected, choose which constituent data to sync (names, phone numbers, tags, etc.).
   • Enable automatic data updates from Voizee to LGL for communication records, ensuring contact reports reflect interactions across both platforms.

This API integration provides a seamless, automated flow of data between LGL and Voizee, ideal for frequent donor updates and continuous engagement tracking.

Method 2: Export-Import

The Export-Import method is ideal for nonprofits looking for periodic data syncing without automated integration. This method involves manually exporting contact data from LGL and importing it into Voizee.

Steps:

1. Export Data from LGL:

   • Log in to your LGL account.
   • Go to Constituents and filter the data you’d like to export (e.g., by campaign, tags, or recent updates).
   • Click Export to Excel and download the file.

2. Prepare the Export File:

   • Open the exported file and ensure the columns match the fields in Voizee (e.g., name, phone number, category).
   • Adjust column headers or clean up data if necessary.

3. Import Data into Voizee:

   • Log in to Voizee, then navigate to Leads > New Import.
   • Choose the Upload File option and select the LGL export file.
   • Map the file columns to Voizee fields to ensure accuracy.
   • Click Import to complete the upload.

4. Schedule Regular Exports (Optional):

   • For consistency, schedule regular exports in LGL to update Voizee periodically, ensuring data remains current.

The Export-Import method is effective for nonprofits that prefer a manual approach or need to import specific data sets.
