Integrating Voizee with Bloomerang allows nonprofits to connect donor engagement and communication workflows in one streamlined system. Bloomerang is a popular donor management and fundraising CRM designed to help nonprofits build stronger relationships with their supporters. By connecting it with Voizee, you can launch SMS campaigns, manage 2-way conversations, and ensure communication records automatically sync back to Bloomerang, keeping donor profiles accurate and up to date.
There are three primary methods to integrate Voizee with Bloomerang: API Integration, Zapier, and Export-Import.
Method 1: API Integration (preferred)
The API integration enables a direct connection between Voizee and Bloomerang, syncing donor and constituent data for seamless communication and reporting.
Steps:
Generate an API Key in Bloomerang:

Click the profile icon in the top right (the circle showing the first letter of your username).

Select My Profile.

Scroll to the API Keys 2.0 section and click Generate.

Enter a descriptive Name for the new key in the Name field (e.g., “Voizee Integration”).

Click Generate again to create the key.

Click to Copy the API key and use it to connect Voizee with Bloomerang.
Connect the API Key in Voizee:

Log in to your Voizee account.

Go to Settings > Organization > Integrations > Bloomerang.

Paste the API key into the designated field and click Save.
Enable Data Sync:
Configure which data to sync (such as messages, contacts, and conversations) to ensure information flows smoothly between the platforms.

Website Widget Events (Callback, Text, Email)
💡 This API integration syncs constituents from Bloomerang into Voizee, while recording all contact activity (calls, texts, and website widget interactions) back to the Bloomerang Constituent Timeline.
Method 2: Zapier Integration (for Zapier lovers)
Zapier can be used to build custom workflows between Voizee and Bloomerang if an API connection is not set up.
Example workflows include:

New Bloomerang Donor → Add to Voizee for SMS campaigns.

Voizee Incoming SMS → Create Note in Bloomerang to keep donor profiles updated.

Method 3: Export-Import (optional)
For organizations that prefer manual updates, Voizee also supports exporting and importing donor data via CSV/Excel files.
Steps:

Export donor or constituent lists from Bloomerang (with phone numbers).

In Voizee, go to Leads > Import, upload the file, and map fields such as Name, Phone Number, and Tags.

Use Voizee to send SMS campaigns or track responses.

Export communication reports from Voizee and re-import them into Bloomerang if needed.
This method is best for smaller organizations or periodic updates.
