Voizee integrates seamlessly with Twilio, giving you full control over your texting, calling, and website widget experiences. This guide walks you through setting up your Twilio account and connecting it to Voizee.
1. Create Your Twilio Account
If you don’t already have a Twilio account, get started here:

Click “Start for Free” and follow the setup process.
2. Generate a Twilio API Key
Your API key allows Voizee to connect securely to your Twilio account.
If Twilio will be used only for Voizee:

Generate an API key under your main account.

Give it a friendly name like:
Voizee App
If Twilio is used for other purposes:

Create a sub-account in Twilio and name it something like:
Voizee -
Then generate the API key within that sub-account

⚠️ Important Notes:

Be sure to select Region = US when generating API credentials

Your Twilio Account SID should begin with
AC -
Your API Key SID should begin with
SK
3. Connect Twilio to Voizee
Once your API Key is created, log into your Voizee account:

Then go to:
Settings > Organization > Integrations > Twilio

Click Enable

Paste in the following:

Twilio Account SID
-
API Key SID
-
API Key Secret

4. Select or Add a Twilio Phone Number
Choose an existing number or purchase a new one from your Twilio account here:

5. Enable Texting (US Numbers – A2P 10DLC Required)
If you’re using a US-based phone number, you’ll need to complete A2P 10DLC registration through Twilio to meet carrier compliance standards for business messaging.
In Twilio:
Go to:
Messaging > Regulatory Compliance > Onboarding
Complete the following steps:

Register your Brand

Register your Campaign
-
Link your Phone Number to the registered campaign
Once your registration is submitted and approved by the Registry, your number will be eligible for SMS use.
In Voizee:
Go to:
Settings > 2-Way SMS > Enable SMS

Select the approved number
-
Complete the configuration
Once your A2P campaign is approved in Twilio and the number is linked, you can start sending SMS campaigns in Voizee.
