Setting Up Business Texting

Business Texting allows you to communicate with customers through the Voizee platform rather than your personal phone. Voizee offers two primary options for texting:

1. 2-Way SMS: Engage in personalized conversations with customers by sending and receiving messages.
2. Mass SMS: Send SMS campaigns to a larger audience simultaneously.

This feature is ideal for sales, marketing, and customer support, helping businesses enhance their communication strategies.

1. Select a Phone Number

To begin using Business Texting, you need to select a phone number for your account.

Steps to Select a Phone Number:

• Navigate to the Number Settings:
  • From the left menu, go to Settings > Organization > Numbers.
• Search for a Number:
  • Click the “Search a Number” button.
  • Enter the necessary details, including:
    • Country
    • State
    • Local or Toll-Free
    • Area Code
      (Note: You can leave some fields blank for a broader selection of available numbers.)
• Review and Select:
  • Browse through the available phone numbers.
  • Click the “Select” button next to your preferred number.

2. Complete A2P Registration

A2P (Application-to-Person) Registration is required in the U.S. for all companies using Business Texting to ensure your messages are not marked as spam.

Steps to Complete A2P Registration:

• Fill out the application form using this link: A2P Registration Form.
• Voizee will submit your application to the Registry.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to complete your A2P registration, as it registers your company, campaigns, and phone number. Once registration is approved, you will receive a notification from Voizee, and you can start using the 2-Way SMS and Mass SMS features.

3. Start Conversations Using 2-Way SMS

Once set up, you can initiate conversations through the 2-Way SMS feature.

Steps to Send a Text Message via 2-Way SMS:

• Navigate to the 2-Way SMS Menu:
  • From the left menu, go to Conversations > 2-Way SMS.
• Add a New Lead or Choose an Existing One:
  • Select the contact you wish to message.
• Compose Your Message:
  • Write your text in the message field and click the ‘Send’ button.

4. Send Bulk SMS Campaigns Using Mass SMS

Before sending your first campaign, import your contacts or add them manually.

Steps to Send a Bulk SMS Campaign:

• Import Contacts:
  • Navigate to Leads > New Import or add a lead manually using the plus button in the lower right corner.
• Navigate to the SMS Campaigns Menu:
  • From the left menu, go to Campaigns > SMS Campaigns.
• Create an SMS Campaign:
  • Click on the “Create SMS Campaign” button.
  • Fill in the details of your campaign and choose to send it immediately, schedule it for a future time, or set it up for recurring delivery.
