Voizee – Follow Up Boss (FUB) Integration

The Voizee integration with Follow Up Boss (FUB) empowers real estate professionals to streamline communication, manage leads, and improve engagement. This integration allows users to leverage Voizee’s Mass SMS, 2-Way SMS, and Website Widget features to enhance client communication directly from Voizee while syncing important data back to Follow Up Boss for easy tracking and management.

How the Integration Works

The integration works by connecting Voizee with Follow Up Boss using API or Zapier. Once connected, all communication actions, such as Website Widget messages, Mass SMS campaigns or 2-Way SMS interactions, can be initiated from Voizee, with all engagement data syncing back to Follow Up Boss.

Setting Up the Integration

Option 1: API Integration (Preferred)

1. Get Your API Key from Follow Up Boss

   • Log in to Follow Up Boss.
   • Navigate to Admin > API (click More if the API menu is hidden and select API)
   • Click “Create API Key” button and give a name to your API key (e.g., Voizee App)
   • Copy the API key provided.

2. Connect Voizee to Follow Up Boss

   • In Voizee, go to Settings > Organization> Integrations.
   • Select Follow Up Boss and paste in the API key.
   • Save and confirm the integration settings.

3. Enable Real-Time Syncing

Configure which data to sync (such as messages, contacts, and conversations) to ensure information flows smoothly between the platforms.

Communication Events (Texts & Calls)



Website Widget Events (Callback, Text, Email)

All messaging and call activity initiated from Voizee will be logged in Follow Up Boss under the person’s activity log, keeping communication records complete and up to date.

💡 Once API syncing is enabled, Voizee will automatically pull new data (People & Tags) from Follow Up Boss and create them in Voizee as (Leads & Tags) every 5 minutes. In addition, all new communication events (texts, calls, emails) initiated in Voizee are instantly logged back into Follow Up Boss. This ensures a seamless, bi-directional sync between the two platforms.

Option 2: Zapier Integration (Optional)

1. Create a New Zap

   • Log in to your Zapier account and click Create Zap.
   • Select Follow Up Boss as the trigger app and choose a trigger event (e.g., New Lead).

2. Add Voizee as the Action App

   • Choose Voizee as the action app and configure the action you want (e.g., Send SMS or Log Conversation).
   • Map data fields to ensure consistency and accuracy between platforms.

3. Test and Activate

   • Test the Zap to confirm data flow between Follow Up Boss and Voizee.
   • Activate the Zap to automate future workflows.

Inbox Integration

The Voizee–FUB Inbox App makes it easy to manage conversations by bringing incoming SMS responses from Voizee campaigns directly into your Follow Up Boss Inbox. From there, messages can be replied to, organized, and filtered just like native FUB communications.

💡 Note: This feature is only available after Voizee and Follow Up Boss are connected via API (see setup steps above).

Installing from Voizee:

1. Log in to Voizee: https://app.voizee.com/user/login

2. Go to Settings > Organization > Integrations > FUB and click Edit.

3. Click the Install Inbox App button.

Installing from Follow Up Boss:

1. Log in to Follow Up Boss: https://app.followupboss.com/login

2. Navigate to Admin > More > Integrations > Inbox Apps > Voizee.

3. Click the Install button.

💡 With Inbox Integration enabled, you can:

• View all Voizee SMS responses directly in your FUB Inbox.

• Reply to leads without leaving Follow Up Boss.

• Use filters to keep conversations organized and easy to manage.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

• API Key Not Working: Ensure the API key is correct and active in Follow Up Boss. If issues persist, reconnect the integration in Voizee.
• Data Not Syncing: Check that real-time sync is enabled in Voizee and that settings allow the specific data to transfer.
• Zapier Connection Errors: Reconnect the Follow Up Boss and Voizee accounts in Zapier, and ensure all fields are properly mapped.

Q: Is this a one-way or two-way sync?
A: The integration allows two-way sync using API, while Zapier workflows typically sync one way depending on the setup.

Q: Can I send SMS messages directly from Follow Up Boss?
A: Yes! You’ll send your mass texting campaigns from Voizee using your FUB lists and tags, but once replies start coming in, you can answer them either in Voizee or right inside your FUB Inbox with the Voizee Inbox App. Super simple and flexible.

Q: What if a lead responds to an SMS outside of business hours?
A: Voizee’s 2-Way SMS captures all responses, which are logged and can be accessed in Follow Up Boss for follow-up when available.
